Who are we?
The Village Butty is a floating music venue on a never-ending tour of the UK Inland Waterways system with the stated aim of increasing the Overall Jollity of The Nation
The Village Butty is a not for profit organisation providing a meeting space and community centre for canal dwellers and canal visitors. We are dedicated to supporting grass roots music and celebrating the history and use of the inland waterways. We are also preserving two historic canal vessels, our 1943 push tug Lion and 1958 day boat Vanadium.
